Emergency Rent (one-time assistance)

Emergency rent assistance is temporary, time-limited rent assistance that prevents individuals from being evicted and becoming homeless. Individuals with low or very low incomes who cannot afford market rent should be referred for housing with shallow or deep rent subsidies.
