Arlington Home Ownership Made Easier (AHOME) offers VHDA (Virginia Housing Development Authority) classes in English and Spanish. Topics include budgeting, credit, the role of the realtor, the loan process, the home inspection, and going to settlement. Classes are offered monthly at the Walter Reed Center at 2909 South 16th Street, Arlington VA (Walter Reed Dr. and 16th Street). Participants receive VHDA certificates upon successful completion. These certificates qualify them for low-interest loans and down payment assistance.
