LINK - Financial Assistance
Areas of Assistance: Emergency Rent (one-time assistance), Fairfax County, VA, Loudoun County, VA, Security Deposits, Utility Assistance
LINK provides assistance to individuals or families referred by specific county agencies or the clergy of LINK member churches. Assistance is provided to people in crisis where there is no other sufficient means of support as funds allow. No payment will be made unless there is a reasonable expectation that the individual will be self-sufficient after the assistance. Funds provided by LINK are for utility costs (if there is a cut-off notice), and rental housing (after an eviction notice). LINK provides limited emergency financial assistance for rent deposits, typically once in a 12 month period. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Financial assistance for those living in the LINK service area of Sterling and Ashburn is provided through Loudoun Cares at 703-669-4636.
Assistance in Fairfax County is provided through Fairfax County’s Coordinated Services Planning office at 703-222-0880.
