Senior Services of Alexandria operates the City of Alexandria Division on Aging and Adult Services’ (DAAS) Meals on Wheels program, and the Senior Services of Alexandria Direct Pay Meals on Wheels program.
Meals on Wheels is a life-sustaining program that allows seniors who are unable to leave their homes to shop, or have difficulty preparing a meal, to have two healthy meals a day delivered to their homes.
To find out if an individual is eligible to receive subsidized meals through DAAS, call the Division on Aging and Adult Services at (703) 746-5999. If the individual does not qualify for the DAAS Meals on Wheels program, Senior Services of Alexandria offers a direct-pay Meals on Wheels program at only $10 a day.
