Bridging Affordability
Areas of Assistance: Fairfax County, VA, Tenant Based Rental Assistance (Deep Subsidies)
Bridging Affordability is a rental assistance program funded by Fairfax County and administered by Northern Virginia Family Service. The program provides up to 24-36 months of rental assistance to homeless individuals/families and to households on the County’s affordable housing waiting lists (e.g., the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Public Housing and Fairfax County Rental Program). The BA Collaborative of nine area agencies delivers wrap-around case management services and strives to serve the most needy in the community with an emphasis on the homeless and disabled.
