Ecumenical Community Helping Others (ECHO) provides limited emergency financial assistance for rent deposits. ECHO will consider working with persons living in or moving into subsidized housing if referred by an agency worker. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis.

ECHO also provides emergency food to eligible persons living in the Springfield community in zip codes 22151, 22152, 22153, 22015 and parts of 22150 and 22312. Eligibility is determined on a case- by-case basis. A referral is needed. Please call for assistance Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
