Fairfax FISH provides emergency financial assistance with rent deposits. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis through Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning which makes assessments and referrals for this service.
It also provides emergency food, perishable and non-perishable, to individuals and families in need. It operates six food pantries located at the following churches: Fairfax Presbyterian Church in Fairfax City, Little River United Church of Christ in Annandale, Parkwood Baptist Church in Annandale, Providence Presbyterian Church in Fairfax, Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Fairfax and Saint Stephen’s United Methodist Church in Burke. FISH requires a referral from Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning.
