Fairfax County Dept. of Family Services Self-Sufficiency

Fairfax County Dept of Family Services Self-Sufficiency assists eligible households with their primary heating expenses. The Crisis Assistance program helps households in heating emergency situations with primary heat security deposits, utility heating bills, repair/replacement of heating equipment or primary heating fuel. Applications are accepted beginning in early fall; funding is limited and benefits for eligible applicants are based on availability of funds.
